This article is based on the report 'Resilience through refugee-inclusive business' by Business Fights Poverty and deals with the opportunities business models offer to build and strengthen refugee resilience. Based on stakeholder consultations promising business models were identified and factors which help these models to work in practice and scale identified. The following three are presented in greater detail in this article: 1. Identifying benefits and incentives for host countries, and building both. 2. Using aid to catalyze markets and attract business. Advocate for laws and policies that encourage refugee self-reliance and business engagement.
