The Plan is a continuation of Government’s efforts in achieving the goals we set in the National Development Vision 2025 of our enduring exertion to further improve the standard of living for all Tanzanians.
The Third and final Five-Year National Development Plan 2021/22 - 2025/26 have a theme of realising competitiveness and industrialization for human development that aims to increase efficiency and productivity in manufacturing using the resources available in abundance within the country.
The Third National Development Plan is the last in the implementation of the 15-year Long Term Perspective Plan which was specifically designed to implement the National Development Vision 2025 which aims to bring the Nation into a middle-income economy driven by industrialisation and human development.
