The global COVID-19 pandemic constitutes an unprecedented challenge with very severe socio-economic consequences. The United Nations has developed a framework to support countries' path to social and economic recovery. In this context the SDG Philanthropy Platform wants to promote a conversation and reflect on how the power of philanthropy can be harnessed to combat the socio-economic consequences of COVID-19.
This convening is organized jointly by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support (WINGS) within the framework of the SDG Philanthropy Platform, in close collaboration with Candid.
