Webinar | Current Global Initiatives for Measuring South-South Cooperation (SSC)
We are pleased to announce that the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation of Colombia (APC-Colombia) will host the second webinar of the Community of Practice on Measurement and Quantification of SSC. This session will focus on the topic of Current Global Initiatives for Measuring SSC. The three online workshops in May, June and July 2022, under the framework of APC-Colombia Knowledge Hub on SSC aim to explore the foundations, the current, as well as upcoming initiatives, and experimental approaches for improving South-South Cooperation. As a main output, the Community of Practice will develop a document summarizing the results emerging from the debates within the series of webinars.
During the upcoming second webinar in the series, the presentations will explore key aspects of measuring cooperation in two major active spaces: The IAEG-SDG’s Working Group on Measurement of Development Support; and the Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD) initiative of the OECD.
The participation from knowledge professionals from the public, private, social and academic sectors, who find value in contributing to this discussion and adapting this knowledge to their own contexts is highly encouraged!

Seminario en línea | Iniciativas globales actuales para la medición de la Cooperación Sur-Sur
Nos complace anunciar que la Agencia Presidencial de Cooperación Internacional de Colombia (APC-Colombia) realizará el segundo seminario (en línea) de la Comunidad de Práctica de Medición y Cuantificación de la Cooperación Sur-Sur, sesión que elaborará sobre la temática de las Iniciativas Globales Actuales para la Medición de la Cooperación Sur-Sur (CSS), el próximo miércoles 29 de junio de 2022 a las 8h Bogotá / 9h NY / 15h Madrid / 18h30 Nueva Delhi. Durante este segundo seminario de la serie, se elaborará sobre aspectos clave de la medición de la cooperación en relación a las actividades de dos importantes espacios: El Grupo Interinstitucional y de Expertos sobre Indicadores de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (IAEG-SDG), y la iniciativa de Apoyo Oficial Total al Desarrollo Sostenible (TOSSD) de la OCDE.
Los tres seminarios, realizados en los meses de mayo, junio y julio de 2022, bajo el marco del Hub de Gestión de Conocimiento de la CSS de APC-Colombia, tienen como objetivo explorar los fundamentos, las iniciativas actuales y futuras, y los enfoques experimentales para mejorar la Cooperación Sur-Sur. Como resultado principal, la Comunidad de Práctica busca generar un documento que resuma los resultados de estas sesiones.
En este contexto, se invita a participar en este seminario a profesionales del conocimiento de los sectores público, privado, social y académico, que encuentren valor en contribuir a esta discusión y adaptar este conocimiento a sus propios contextos.
