Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 19th Steering Committee was held virtually over two days (11-12 May 2020). The meeting was chaired by the four GPEDC co-chairs and brought together 55 participants representing committee members. The main outcomes of the meeting was the adoption and launch of the 2020-22 Global Partnership Work Programme and agreement on roles and responsibilities to support its implementation.

The new work programme build on past consultations with the Steering Committee, Co-Chairs and other stakeholders The action areas under each Strategic Priority are an integral feature of the work programme.
