  • Overall aim: to improve aid effectiveness to maximize benefits for the people of Samoa through strengthened systems and procedures

    • Ensure effective leadership of Samoa, developing coherent sector strategies, strengthen sectoral institutions, and ensure clarity in the relations between sectoral plans, the responsible implementing agencies, and the role of central ministries
    • To strengthen the financial management, accountability mechanisms, and performance measurement systems

The key role of the ACC is the coordination of all development cooperation, in particular the allocation of resources should external funding be required.
